About Our Director

Renegade Farm, established in 1996, offers horsemanship and riding skills to equine enthusiasts ages 6 through adult. Lynn Bakos, owner and director of Renegade Farm, teaches safety first throughout the horsemanship and riding lessons. Renegade Farm offers full care boarding, summer camp, and year round riding lessons.

Lynn's Credentials

• Former School Teacher with a Bachelors of Science in Education from Ohio State University
• Certified by the American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA) as an instructor in Hunt Seat (English) and Recreational Riding (Western and English)
• Horsemanship Safety Association (HSA) certified instructor and clinician
• Studied under Olympic Rider, international judge and certified Canadian coach, Eve Mainwaring
• Participated in clinics with George Morris, Chris Irwin, and Randy Thompson
• Her Registered Canadian Warmblood foals, born and bred at Renegade Farm, have been been displayed at the Equine Affair in Springfield, MA. Her foals have also participated in many of the on-site clinics at the Equine Affair
• Attended the Spruce Meadows Masters International Show in Calgary, Alberta
• Participated at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto

Lynn rides both western and English. She has won many Champion and Reserve Champion Awards throughout Ohio, being the Lorain County 4-H Champion for 7 years. She also trains her own foals and many of the horses used in lessons at Renegade Farm.
